Upcycled Movie Lead Free Soldered Pendant Necklace Review and GIVEAWAY!!!!

I recently attended a handmade craft fair in Deep Ellum in Dallas and was introduced to Katie with Handmade Hooligans!

I was visiting with Nix, who is the owner and operator of House of Smash, with whom there is currently a giveaway up of his upcycled record bracelets.  Nix introduced me and, of course, I am always excited to promote the local arts and Dallas artists to my wonderful followers!

Katie designs amazing necklaces created from salvaged magazine and print ads and places them in a glass-soldered pendant.  The pendant measures 1.5” x 1.5” and comes with a complimentary chain.  Of course, my intrigue is that these necklaces are helping to save at least some paper end up in the landfill!  Way to upcycle!

Best known for her classic movie posters, Katie gave me a sample pendant featuring The Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.  When wearing the necklace out, I have had such positive feedback since the necklace is so unique and simply one-of-a-kind.

In addition, the chain that she provided is easily adjustable.  It was way too long for me, but I was able to snip the chain and ~ done ~ perfect fit!
